Accessing G2G in the Field
There are two ways field users can interact with the G2G system — the dedicated G2G Handheld Scanner App and the browser-based G2G PWA. The right choice depends on the device you're working with and the task at hand.
G2G Handheld Scanner App
The dedicated G2G app runs on Android-based handheld RFID devices. It supports RFID and Bluetooth BLE scanning, and is the primary tool for teams performing Stocktakes, Manifest Checks, and day-to-day Asset management in the field.

G2G Progressive Web App (PWA)
The G2G PWA is a browser-based app that runs on any mobile device — and can optionally be downloaded to your device to add a launcher tile to your home screen. It can use your device's camera to scan QR codes on Asset tags, and includes:
- Manage Assets — Tag new Assets or update the values of an existing Asset
- Search Assets — Search for preloaded Assets by their Asset Type, Asset Name or any Custom Field Value e.g. their serial number.
- Locate — Search for a Location to see exactly what is there or to add/remove tags.
- Create Record — Scan any Asset or Location that has a OneBlink form attached to complete it directly within the PWA.
- Undertake Scheduled Tasks — Open Scheduled Tasks created in OneBlink to complete them directly within the PWA.
