3. Buttons You’ll Use
Button | What It Does | |

4. Touchscreen Tips
- Works just like a smartphone — tap, scroll, swipe
- Tap Power if the screen sleeps
5. How to Adjust Scan Range
If you’re picking up too many RFID tags, you can reduce the scan range to make scanning more precise. Scan range is now controlled within each scanning function (Manage Tags, Conduct Stocktake, Check Inventory, etc.) rather than from the Settings menu.
- Open the scanning function you want to use (e.g. Manage Tags, Conduct Stocktake, or Check Inventory).
- Use the range slider at the top of the screen to adjust the scan power.
- Adjust the level:
-100= Long range (10+ m) — use to scan large areas-40= Close range (under 1m) — use for precision scanning
Pro Tips for Best Scans
- Hold scanner 30–50 cm from tags
- RFID doesn’t need line of sight (great for scanning inside bags or crates)
- Don’t point camera at reflective surfaces
- If beeps are too loud/quiet → adjust with Volume + /
