Managing your asset data in G2G is simple. You can export your assets to a CSV file at any time. If you’d like to import assets, this requires assistance from your G2G Administrator.
Importing Assets
At this stage, importing assets into the G2G Console cannot be done directly by users.
- Please contact your Account Manager if you need to import assets.
- A G2G Administrator will help you complete the process.
Exporting Assets to CSV
You can export a list of all assets in your G2G system to a CSV file.
Steps:
- Go to Assets
- From the main menu, select Assets.
- Open Export Tools
- On the Assets Page, you’ll see a list of your assets and several menu buttons.
- Click Tools → Export Asset.
- Choose Export Options
- Date/Time Format
YYYY-MM-DD hh:mm:ssUnix Epoch (Milliseconds)ISO 8601 Format- ID Display Format
- URL Format – provides a direct link to the asset in the console
- ID Only – only shows the system identification
You’ll be prompted to set how your data should appear:
💡 We recommend using URL Format for easy navigation to your individuals assets from the CSV file.
- Download CSV
- Once you’ve made your selections, click Download CSV.
- Your CSV file will be generated with the chosen format.
Filtering Exports
If you’d like to export only certain assets, you can apply filters before downloading. Available options include:
- All – see everything
- Map – assets currently mapped
- Roaming – assets outside expected locations
- Unknown – assets without a known location
- Never Seen – assets registered but never detected
- Visiting – assets temporarily seen in your system
