Sometimes Wi-Fi can be a little unreliable, and you may need to switch to an alternative network to keep things running smoothly. Updating your Wi-Fi settings on the RFID scanner gun is quick and works much like changing Wi-Fi on your phone.
Steps to Change Wi-Fi
- Exit the G2G App
- Close the G2G app. You’ll see the G2G app icon along with your device settings.
- Open Settings
- Tap Settings to open the MoviControl Settings Manager.
- Select Wi-Fi
- In the menu, choose Wi-Fi.
- If an alternative network is already set up, simply select it.
- If you need to add a new network, tap the ➕ (plus) symbol and enter your Wi-Fi details.
- Reconnect to the G2G App
- Once connected, exit the settings screen and return to the G2G app.

Important Notes
- To use the G2G app you will need internet connectivity, you can use Wi-Fi or insert a Sim Card into your device.
- Staying connected ensures you’re working with the most up-to-date information and that all changes are captured and saved properly.
Troubleshooting Tips
- Wi-Fi network not showing?
Try toggling Wi-Fi off and back on in the settings.
- Can’t connect to a network?
Double-check the password and ensure the network has internet access.
- Still having issues?
Restart the scanner gun, then repeat the steps above.
