App Settings (Handheld Readers)
View and customise your G2G app experience.
What's in Settings?
Tap Settings to see:
- Account information: The user the device is logged into
- Reader details: Device name
- App version: Current version installed
Below this, you'll find three toggles that control key app features:
- Ignore Additional Equipment – When enabled, items not listed on the Manifest are hidden during an Inventory Check so you only see expected items.
- Enable Bluetooth – When enabled, Bluetooth tags are automatically detected. Turn this off if you're not working with Bluetooth assets to reduce on-screen clutter.
- Show QR Code Scanner – When enabled, the QR code scanner option is available in the app for scanning QR-coded tags.
These switches let you turn features on or off depending on your workflow.
Home Screen Customisation
The Home Screen section lets you organise and prioritise app functions. You can:
- Toggle functions on or off
- Reorder functions by pressing and dragging the left edge of the function title
- Set a default launch screen — choose which function opens automatically when the app starts
If you want to restore the default layout, press Reset Order and Visibility.
Things to Know
- The function at the top of the list will open when you pull the trigger from the Home Screen.
- Customising the Home Screen helps streamline daily tasks and ensures your most-used features are always accessible.
